You can enjoy the Random Challenge Generator in a couple of ways:
1. FREE PLAY MODE:
No rules, no pressure! Just grab a challenge and do it for fun, at your own pace. Use it as a solo activity, a casual group dare, or a quick, fun party starter. The choice is yours!
2. POINTS CHALLENGE MODE:
Ready to turn up the heat? Here's how to play for points:
Set a Goal:
Before starting, decide as a group how many challenges or rounds the game will last (e.g., play 5 rounds, or until someone reaches a certain number of points).
Scoring and Skipping:
- Easy challenges are worth 1 point.
- Medium challenges are worth 2 points.
- Hard challenges are worth 3 points.
- Bonus: If a player doesn't use their "Skip" option (see below) throughout the entire game, they receive an additional 3 bonus points at the end.
- Skipping a Challenge: Each player has one "Skip" per game. If you receive a challenge you'd rather not do (for any reason), you can choose to use your Skip and get a new one.
Completing a Challenge:
After a player attempts a challenge, the other players vote "Yes" or "No" on whether it was successfully completed. The player attempting the challenge does not vote. A challenge is considered complete if it receives a majority of "Yes" votes from the other players (more than 50%). In case of a tie in votes (e.g., if there are two voters and one says "Yes" and one says "No"), or if there are more "No" votes, the challenge is considered not completed. The group should aim for fair and good-spirited judgment.
The player with the most points (including any end-game bonuses) at the end of the game wins! In case of a tie for the most points, players can either share the victory or decide on a final tie-breaker challenge.
Good to Know:
Helpful Tools: You might need some basic items like paper, a pen/pencil, or common household objects depending on the challenge. If the challenge is timed, someone in the group should be the timekeeper. Be resourceful! If absolutely necessary, refer to "Unavailable Resources" above.
Unavailable Resources: If a challenge requires specific items that are genuinely unavailable and cannot be reasonably substituted, the player may generate a new challenge. This does not count as using a Skip.
Reading the Challenge: Since challenges often include examples to clarify what to do (which may give partial hints or ideas), it's best if someone other than the active player reads the challenge out loud. The reader can decide whether or not to include the example(s), depending on how difficult they want to make it for the active player.
